Daniel, a passionate teacher, began his violin journey at age 5 and has since accumulated extensive performing experience in Sydney, China, and Europe, collaborating with distinguished conductors. Daniel made a captivating solo debut, in 2016 through his affiliation with the UNSW Orchestra.
Daniel's expertise extends to conducting, guided by figures like Lyn Williams OAM and Steve Williams. He honed his skills through the Australian Band and Orchestral Directors Association (ABODA) conducting course, where he led the Royal Australian Navy Band.
His role as Assistant Conductor of Symphonia Jubilate from 2013 to 2015 highlights his commitment to community youth orchestras. Currently, he serves as the Conductor of the University of New South Wales String Ensemble (UNSWSE), the UNSW Medical Music Society (MMS) Orchestra, and excels as the Concertmaster of the UNSW Orchestra.
In 2018, Daniel graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Music (Hons)/Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) degree, achieving 1st Class Honors and earning his AMusA Diploma with Distinction in violin performance. His diverse experience enriches his teaching, benefiting students with a holistic musical education.
