Constantine Karatenislis, a distinguished clarinetist and mentor with over nine years of teaching experience, holds a Bachelor of Music Performance with honors from the University of Monash. His accolades include being Principal Clarinetist in prominent orchestras, including the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra for 2023, The Royal Australian Navy Band, The Monash Symphony Orchestra, and The Monash University Wind Symphony.


Constantine’s journey has been personally transformative, as learning the clarinet during a challenging time equipped him with musical expression and life navigation skills. As an educator, he passionately shares his wisdom through diverse teaching methods like group lessons, one-on-one instruction, masterclasses, and seminars, creating a comprehensive learning experience.


He aims to inspire students to find their inner musical voice and apply the lessons learned in music to life, fostering an interdisciplinary approach. Constantine’s dedication to music has earned him prestigious awards, including the First Prize of the Margaret Bursary Fund in 2017 and the First Prize in the Clasax National Clarinet Competition the same year. His commitment enriches the lives of his students and the wider clarinet community.
