
Multi Talented Clancy
Here at the LilyMonteverdi School of Music, we are never short of young talents. Clancy is a 7 years old student who had been learning music in our school since the age of 4. He began piano lessons first at 4 years old, taught by Sam. At the age of 5, he started learning violin as well, with Monty as his teacher. So Proud To Anounce
Just yesterday, our 7 year old student, Isaiah once again, was a proud winner. This time, he received the MOST OUTSTANDING COMPETITOR UNDER 10 YEARS award, which is one of the more elite awards at the Eisteddfod. With only 2.5 years of learning piano, and competed against many amazing and exceptional junior pianists who came from different parts of Sydney and beyond, Isaiah managed to achieve fantastic results receiving 2 Golds and 1 Silver. Strong competitor
One of our young violin students, 7 year old Clancy, was the recipient of two Bronze medals at the St George Eisteddfod recently. Two weeks later, he competed again in the Ryde Eisteddfod and received a Silver medal. Children, like Clancy, who performed confidently and could came out above the many other competitors, are certainly not pure luck! It is definitely the result of many hours of dedicated practices. Good job Clancy, congratulations!

Huge achievement!!!
A big congratulation goes to our 7 year old student Isaiah Cheng who is the recipient of the prestigious Dorothy Cooks Award. He is the winner of the Perpetual Trophy for being the most outstanding competitor 10 years and under for 2019. This is huge for such a young age! We are so proud of him.
